We are the founding chapter of Disabled Sports USA, the nation’s largest nonprofit, multi-sport and multi-disability organization. Today there are over 100 chapters serving more than 60,000 people nationwide.
|Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC)
Experience the beauty and challenge of outdoor adventures. Every year over 2,000 people of all abilities join us to raft whitewater rivers, ski across alpine meadows, sea kayak the waters of the Golden Gate and sleep beneath the open sky. ETC trips enable participants to access the wilderness, gain environmental awareness, and share the adventure.We invite you to join us on a trip. Groups and individuals of all abilities are welcome to participate in our SEA KAYAKING, RAFTING and CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING programs.

Sierra Regional Ski For Light offers a cross country ski program for blind and visually impaired persons. Blind skiers are paired with trained, experienced sighted guides who describe the trail and terrain. A three-day event and several one day trips are held each year

Wheelchair Tennis – Tennis Socials: IMPAKT hosts UpDown Socials at Town Park tennis courts in Corte Madera – it’s FUN and FREE. These socials are intended to bring awareness to the community and promote the integration of able-bodied players with wheelchair players. All ages and abilities are welcome. Families are highly encouraged to attend. Sports/tennis wheelchairs for loan, spare racquets and plenty of balls.
Tennis Clinics: Tennis clinics are conducted by appointment only. Drop-Ins are always welcome – $20.
