Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program (BORP) is a non-profit organization supported by foundations and corporations, but we rely on gifts from individuals like you to make our unique programs possible. Your generous donation will help us create accessible sports and recreation opportunities for a population that has historically been left out.

For most kids, team sports can be found at schools, city recreation centers and local sport leagues. But for thousands of disabled children in the Bay Area, BORP is the only place to experience the powerful benefits of team sports and recreation. For the past 30 years, BORP has been providing challenging, high-quality sports and recreation programs for disabled children, youth and adults, whatever their physical abilities.

But BORP provides far more than play. BORP helps to build more productive, happier lives. Our participants learn fitness, self-esteem, teamwork, independence, responsibility and self-reliance. Many discover new levels of strength and confidence that affect their whole lives. As a result, our participants are more likely to finish high school. They are more likely to graduate from college. They are more likely to find employment.
