BORP works with companies, nonprofits, government agencies, and other organizations to make a difference in the lives of people with physical disabilities and visual impairments. Our partners contribute more than money. Their ideas, volunteer support, in-kind donations and more are changing lives and providing a path to greater achievement through sports and recreation.
|Disabled Sports USA
Thanks to the support of DSUSA’s Adapt to Achieve grant, BORP launched a new adaptive rowing program in 2018.
|Oakland Fund for Children & Youth
OFCY funds BORP’s life-changing programming for children and youth with physical disabilities and visual impairments who live in Oakland, CA.
What our Partners are Saying

How to Partner with BORP
Event Funding Opportunities
BORP hosts events throughout the year to raised awareness about the impact of adaptive sports and recreation and to raise funds that directly support our programs. Organizations who participate in BORP’s events not only get recognition as supporters but also join BORP in changing lives through the power of sports. Get involved with BORP via one of these powerful events:
|The Revolution Ride & Festival
The Revolution is BORP’s largest fundraising event each year. The event brings the entire BORP community together for a day of cycling through the gorgeous Sonoma County wine country, celebration, and fun. It is a powerful reminder of why BORP does the work it does: simply because of smiles it puts on so many faces.
|BORP Hall of Fame and Awards Celebration
Held in June each year, this event is a fun and inspiring evening where we recognize the achievements and contributions of athletes, adventurers, and other individuals who have made an impact on adaptive sports.
Attendees hear directly from athletes and leaders in the disability and adaptive sports community and have the opportunity to make personal connections at this moving event. Learn more.
|BORP Annual Poker Fundraiser
This Texas Hold’em poker night is a fun event benefiting BORP’s Power Soccer Program. Beginners and experienced poker players alike have a great time every year, enjoying friendly poker games, food, drinks, and awesome prizes. In addition to monetary donations, event organizers seek in-kind donations of poker and raffle prizes each year. Learn more.
In addition to the opportunities above, we are happy to tailor a sponsorship or program funding opportunity to best meet the needs of your organization. If you are interested in partnering with BORP, please contact Betsy Dorsett, Development and Communications Manager (firstname.lastname@example.org or 510-225-7035) to discuss options.
