About Nancy:

After suffering a serious back injury while skiing 33 years ago (didn't walk for 1 year), I was desperate to try everything but surgery. A friend carried me to a yoga class and I incrementally began to heal and re-align my spine---and have been doing it ever since.

In 1996 I introduced yoga to the SF LightHouse for the Blind & Visually Impaired 15 years ago. I have 15 years of experience teaching visually impaired and blind seniors/elderly students from 23 years of age to 102. I am an observer. I keep developing my sensory awareness through learning from my students. I work from my own inner-voice, heart, intuition, and experience blending various yoga disciplines from 33 yrs. of practice with some of the best teachers in the world. I care about my students and they tell me they feel the energy. I help them to open their hearts and well-being. Bottom line---yoga evokes discovery of ourselves and helps to quiet the cessation of the "mind stuff."

Nancy teaches the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class Thursdays from 11-12pm.
