Gentle Yoga

This class is designed to maintain flexibility and strength and to develop focus and balance. Joining the breath with repetitive movements the body is allowed to move into postures with more ease and comfort. All levels welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing.
About Stacey:
I have practiced yoga for over 30 years, studying Iyengar, Ashtanga and Kundalini styles. Yoga has been a mainstay in my life; it has carried me through difficult times and helped me gain peace, strength and vigor when it was most needed. I am most interested in practicing breathing techniques coupled with movement as a means to calm the mind and allow the body to move into postures with ease. I have taught yoga for over 3 years. Prior to this I taught the visually impaired as a teacher and a mobility specialist for over a decade.
