Upper Body Strengthening

Instructor: Katie Mayers

This class is designed to help you increase strength you have to push, pull, and rotate at different angles, using your upper body and core (abs and low back) musculature. We will use your own body weight, elastic tubing, weights, maybe each other! This class is adaptable for performing either standing, sitting in a chair or lying down. Think of the movements you would like to improve in your daily life (IE reaching to top shelves, lifting bags, pushing a baby carriage) and bring those ideas to class. About Katie: Katie Mayers, MS., has over 20 years of fitness experience, and is known for her humor, warmth, and keen eye for precision in form.
