Note this price will be more if people want to camp and get themselves to the river. We will most likely leave Berkeley from ERC at 6:30am and return between 7pm and 9pm. There may be some scholarship possibilities through ETC, but these would be partial scholarships. Please let me know if you are bringing a personal care attendant. On the way back we will stop at Machado Orchards with has pies and produce.
Our day of rafting will include approximately 12 miles on the Lower Gorge Section of the South Fork American River. This stretch starts with mellower Class II whitewater, and then builds to exciting Class III whitewater in the afternoon for fun waves and rapids. ETC is committed to making outdoor adventure accessible to people with special needs, and our Guides are experienced in making adaptations for a wide range of physical abilities. We use both paddle rafts and oar rafts to make a variety of accommodations. If you have questions about accessibility, please contact Lori Gray. Note there are age and weight limitations. - Mail in fees (note that your space is not confirmed until payment is received.)
