Exploration of Passages (Descriptive Tour)

Join us for an exploration of passages, a virtually descriptive tour hosted by BORP on September 13th starting at 10:30am.

Description of Event: On September 13th, in partnership with the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, BORP’s Adventures & Outings Program will host an exploration of artwork with docent Patricia Daniels. The theme for this tour is Passages. This is a word we don’t use that often, and it may call to mind different things for each of us. For this tour we are going to discuss works that involve spiritual passages – transformations – the act of becoming or discovering something and passing that knowledge on. This is a subject of art that we find in many cultures worldwide. We’ll explore works in sculpture and painting from the furthest reaches of the North American Continent and from the Northern Territories of Australia. Join us for these Passages!

The tour takes place on September 13th from 10:30am to 12pm.

If you have any questions, please contact Lori at 510-843-4398 after 10am or email Lori at lori@borp.org. Please let Lori know that you will be attending the event.
