Youth Wheelchair Basketball
A Fun and Challenging Sport
Wheelchair basketball is an exciting sport that offers players the chance to develop new skills, improve their fitness, build self-confidence, and experience the fun and challenge of playing on a team.
BORP offers the only competitive basketball program in Northern California for youth with physical disabilities. Our team, the Jr. Road Warriors, plays against teams across the state and country, offering players the opportunity to travel and learn a wide range of independence skills.
We welcome players of all levels of experience–from newcomers to team sports to experienced athletes. Youth with any type of lower limb disability can participate, and BORP has a fleet of sports chairs on hand for those who need them. The program is mixed gender and serves youth ages five through high school graduation.
