Friends of BORP
Friends of BORP are lifting up BORP visibility and recognition among Bay Area philanthropists, making the case for BORP as a major contributor to the Bay Area’s unique culture. Group members commit to raising $10,000 or more for BORP in a year. Since launching in January 2025, Friends of BORP have collectively raised and donated $62,848 (as of July 1).

Literally, no one else would make the effort to bring us to Great America, rock climbing, and play Goalball. At first, I didn't think I could rock climb because I'm not that strong. But now, after 4 years of climbing with BORP I'm pretty good at climbing.
I thought it [rock climbing] was going to be a lot harder than it was. I don't know how I did it, but I went up an impossible gap route. When I finished it made me feel like I had won an award. I felt like I was number 1.
