This class is appropriate for anyone new to yoga, seniors, people with injuries, disabilities or illnesses, or anyone who wants a more gentle experience. This class will center on basic poses (modifications to basic poses are offered and encouraged), relaxation, breathing, and meditation. Using the breath to come into the poses, we will learn to utilize the power of the breath to help us focus, find clarity and peace of mind.
We hope to make this class available to all who wish to practice yoga. Class fees are by donation, meaning that you are welcome to give what you can.
Mats and props provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
