Highly descriptive, fine arts Museum tour. Brief Summary and Theme: “My Name is Mary”
What does the name Mary conjure up for you related to the world of art? Please join in a wide-ranging conversation with FAMSF docents Anne Burns Johnson and Charlotte Read on both artistic subjects and artists related to the “name Mary” in our April 8th tour for BORP. Our first query will be… “Who has more portraits and artistic representations in the world to date next to the late Queen Elizabeth II?” From there, we shall consider a variety of FAMSF artworks including a 2020 print of a beloved Chevy low-rider, a Victorian era portrait terracotta bust, a pastel of a mother and child from 1897, a Delft tulip vase from 1690….and more.
