Artists through the ages have used various techniques to convey themes in their art, including exploring the relationship between scale and context. Scale refers to the overall physical size of an artwork or objects in the artwork and context addresses the story. The artworks we’ll discuss will address societal values, emphasizing those who definitely are large and in charge.
